2003 Serenella Estate Reserve Semillon

This traditional Hunter Valley Semillon was handpicked from a 40 year old vineyard with no drip irrigation and low cropping. Pronounced herbaceous and flinty characteristics of this classic Semillon

This unoaked Semillon marries elegance and longevity, while the bouquet and flavour is pure Hunter Semillon. it exhibits crispness while being soft and round on the palate, reflecting the quality of the grapes and our gentle wine making style.

This Semillon would compliment lighter style dishes such as salads, white meats in light sauces, fish and delicate seafood's. Can be enjoyed now or cellar for 8 to 10 years.Will develop further complexities with bottle age.

Top quality handpicked 100% Hunter Valley Verdelho grapes were gently crushed to produce this beautiful rich vibrant wine, with an outstanding aroma of tropical fruit, which is evident on the nose. An elegant soft middle palate that has a dry finish, making it a wine that you would be proud to serve at anytime.

This wine will only improve with cellaring from 3 to 5 years.

2004 Serenella Estate Reserve Sangiovese Shiraz

Made from handpicked Sangiovese and Shiraz grapes. A subtle twist to two usually robust varieties. Deep blood red with purple hues. Uplifting berry, resin and soft alcoholic nose with only a hint of fresh oak. A fruit salad of flavoures. Light to medium bodied with a refined length of palate. Full of mulberry an chocolate flavours with pepper and spice. Soft but distinct tannins with the concentration on fruit flavours and characters. A well balanced drink now or cellar for 6 to 8 years which will develop further complexities with bottle age. An unusual varietal combination pleasantly balanced on the nose and the palate.

2002 Serenella Estate Reserve Shiraz

The grapes for "Maria's Bin Shiraz" were selectively harvested from 100% Hunter Valley grapes from the Kurrajong Vineyard on Hermitage road. A small vineyard producing quality Shiraz fruit flavours. A medium to full bodied classic Hunter Shiraz, deep red with violet hues highlighting its colour. Rich, ripe mulberry flavours challenged by its long spicy finish.

American & French 228 litre oak casks of medium toast age were used to mature this classic Hunter Shiraz for 18 months. The vital chocolate characters emanate from the American oak whilst the French oak adds finesse and elegance. The natural earthiness of the Shiraz grape is finally integrated upon its marriage with the oak. This Shiraz may be enjoyed now or develop further complexities with bottle age. Cellaring potential is 6 to 8 years.

2002 Serenella Estate Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz

We carefully choose the grapes from the Mudgee area. Our Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz is a deep red/purple in colour & exhibits full-bodied fruit flavours of raspberry & blackcurrants. The palate is soft & round incorperating nicely balanced tannin and well integrated oak.

This wine was barrel aged for 14 months in a combination of one year old French and American oak barriques. Enjoy with meat, game & cheeses. Drink now or enhance with cellaring for 5 to 6 years.

2004 Serenella Estate Late Picked Semillon Chardonnay

Made from handpicked Hunter Valley grapes. A light bodied fruity wine and sweetness driven. Golden straw in colour with green hues. The Semillon and Chardonnay grapes were left a little longer on the vine to soak up more sunshine and intensify the sweetness on the palate sacrificing the usual fruit acid characters.

A refreshing drink now wine for those with a sweeter palate. Cellaring potential up to 2 to 4 years. Drink now and enjoy!

2003 Serenella Estate Reserve Liqueur Chardonnay

This is the first Liqueur Chardonnay for Serenella Estate. Golden straw in colour. A complex taste of sixteen month old oak matured Chardonnay with malolactic characters and fine spirit all heating up the length of palate. Butterscotch and passionfruit and medium toast French oak play with the length of palate with a smooth sweetness and hot alcoholic finish. cellaring potential up to 10 years or more.
